I saw that this video was doing the rounds on the internet. Can you believe this guy?
Let us think of this in an objective way. Let us suppose that there was a lot of oil in Alaska and the companies knew about it but decided to keep the oil under hoods so that they could push the price of oil artificially high. Would it be really feasible for the companies to do so? Would they not benefit much more if they did not have to buy the oil from Saudi Arabia or Russia or Canada but instead could work out a deal with the government and get the crude from Alaska at a much cheaper rate? If they could sell cheap oil, why would they not do so? Especially since now they are paying a huge sum of money for the raw material and then they are not making much by selling the finished product.
