What I found intriguing was what they are going to do with all this real estate.
Also, the money in Dubai comes from trade not from oil

Really nice. Radical way of thinking and very outspoken. Will write more on it later here, but I loved the way Adam Curtis has put the thing.
Even though India is a democracy, I find that the kind of democracy in India is not really an effective one. Change is difficult to bring about, bureaucracy is rampant.

Humming Chorus

This is the Humming Chorus from Madam Butterfly. Truly amazing!!
Would be beautiful to actually see it. I wish I were able to see as much as possible of these in my lifetime.

Swan Lake

Went to see Swan Lake this weekend at the Met Opera. Amazing. The girls seemed lighter than air when they were lifted by the men. Its amazing how they are able to be so synchronous. Such elegance.
I am planning to get one of these opera glasses. Should be fun to sometimes see the dance / opera through them.
