The Maharashtra Navanirman Sena (MNS) has declared that all the Nava-Nirman of their beloved motherland has been finished. Just one small detail has to be sorted out and they are taking great pains to see that it is completed on schedule.
Speaking to correspondents, Sachin Koratkar said "We have been working relentlessly for the past few days in cleaning up our great state. The last item on our agenda was the change of the shop signboadrs. With God's grace this too will be finished quickly and we will have the new Maharashtra we had always dreamed of".
While shop keepers were enthusiastic about the tremendous progress that has been made by the MNS in the last few months, they conceded that it is a small price to pay for the improvemts. Jatin Shah, Parla W, said "The improvements in transportation, roads and law and order situation is phenomenal. After years it has happened that in the morning rush hour no one in the entire train died of saffocation. Prices too have come down. When the Sena boys wanted me to change the signs, I readily agreed - I guess thay want new signs to reflect the new Bombay."
The last few months have indeed been hectic for Bombay. Only 15000 thefts were reported last year and just 400 murders. MNS spokesperson said "This is truly historic. We have shown the world that we too can acheive peace and stability.
